For Language Schools

Read how your language school group can get the most from a visit to Kildare Street

We hope your students enjoy their visit to the Museum. The following guidelines are in place to ensure you and your group get the most from your visit to the Museum:

All groups must book their visit, when the Museum is busy groups who do not book may be asked upon arrival to delay their entry to the Museum. To arrange a visit please book at least two weeks in advance with the Bookings Office.

Please consider doing pre-visit preparation in class to help students understand what they are seeing. Consider doing some prepatory work looking at the archaeolgy of Ireland.

  • To discover information about what is on display check the exhibitions pages.
  • To plan an activity at the Museum consider using an activity sheet with your group, take a look at the selection of the Museum activity sheets.

Students must be supervised by a minimum ratio of 15 students to 1 member of staff.

Group Leaders must accompany their group at all times to ensure students behave in a suitable manner.
