Read the Museum's advice and policies on using multimedia equipment onsite


Hand-held cameras may be used in the galleries. However the use of flash, video, tripods, and other professional digital equipment is not permitted.

Photographs taken in the galleries can only be used for personal use. Commercial use of any kind is not permitted.

Filming

Our collections have been filmed for use in television, documentaries, videos and educational programmes. For permission please contact our Rights & Reproductions Office at +353 (0) 1 - 648 6473. Alternatively, email imagelibrary@museum.ie We will require at least two weeks’ notice and a copy of your insurance indemnification before permission can be granted.

Commercial Filming

Our locations and galleries have also been used for commercial film and television use as well as advertising and promotional campaigns. For enquiries in relation to commercial filming, please contact OCMS http://ocmsireland.com/  who work on behalf of NMI.
