On the 28th of November the National Museum of Ireland – Natural History is holding a one-day seminar celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication “On the Origin of Species”. Talks will not only be based on the book’s ideas, but also on how the theory of evolution has evolved over the last 150 years.

The National Museum of Ireland is hosting a 1-day conference on Saturday 14 November that explores in depth some of the themes touched on in the National Museum’s permanent exhibition of Asian Art, A Dubliner’s Collection of Asian Art: The Albert Bender exhibition. The conference programme consists of a series of talks covering such diverse topics as the influence of Buddhism in Ireland and the iconography of Arhats.
