How to get the most from a visit to the Country Life museum

To arrange a visit please book at least two weeks in advance with the Bookings Office. All tours and activities are subject to availability, group size and level of language ability.

Information on this website can assist with your pre-visit preparation which can help students understand the exhibitions and themes of the museum.

Students must be supervised by a minimum ratio of 15 students to 1 member of staff. Staff must accompany their group at all times.

Like all groups, language school students are expected to behave in a courteous and respectful way to the museum staff and other visitors:

  • No eating in the galleries
  • Littering is prohibited anywhere on the Museum site
  • Respect other tours/ individuals in the gallery spaces
  • The children's activity area is our dedicated space for families only
  • Read our Code of Conduct for Language Schools (22KB, Adobe .pdf)

Failure to comply with the above may result in our inability to accept bookings from your organisation in the future. Please bring this to the attention of all staff and students.
