The National Museum of Ireland - Country Life is located at Turlough Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, F23 HY31 - just 30 minutes from the Mayo section of the Wild Atlantic Way.

- Sunday and Monday, 1pm to 5pm
- Closed Christmas Day, St. Stephen's Day and Good Friday
Getting here
The museum is easily accessed just off the N5 (Dublin to Westport route). It is well signposted along the N5 in both directions. Once you have turned off from the N5, drive for about five minutes and the Museum entrance will be on the left hand side. The iron gated entrance is flanked by large flag poles.

There is a large car park on site, and parking is free. There are several designated disability parking spaces. There is a set-down and pick-up area in front of Turlough Park House (near the main exhibition galleries) for mobility impaired visitors.
