Be a Fashion Detective!

Students will explore Irish fashion and get hands on experience of fabrics and fibre.

In this 'detective' workshop students explore social historical themes such as a
comparison of “rich and poor”, changes over time from manufacturing in 19th century Ireland to the global mass production of today, and how our clothes
communicate messages about who we are. Students will work in small groups and get hands on experiences of fabric, raw fibre and accessories.
