The Museum's Education & Learning Department offers a range of engaging and imaginative curriculum-linked events, workshops and tours for schools.
To enquire about a school group visit please complete this enquiry form. Please note we require at least a week's notice of a group visit, however, we advise getting in touch with one months notice to ensure that we can arrange a visit to suit your needs. Due to the reduced capacity, the maximum group size is 35 (including teachers/supervisors) per hour at NMI- Natural History.
We regret that some of our Military History galleries at the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, are temporarily closed for repairs
Our current restoration work means the first floor of our museum is closed. This limits our capacity so visitors should be prepared to wait in line outside for up to 1 hour
