International Museum Day Tour: Medieval Life

To mark International Museum Day and the Bealtaine Festival, join Museum Educator Annie Birney on a tour of the Medieval Ireland Exhibition and see how work, prayer and power shaped the lives of those living in Medieval Dublin and beyond. 
No booking required. Places allocated on a first come basis. Meet at Reception. Not wheelchair accessible. Free admission. Ages 8+ 

Bealtaine Medieval Leatherworking Workshop

Tuesday 30th May. 10:30am - 1pm and 2pm-4:30pm 

Join John Nicholl, an experimental archaeologist and leather finds specialist, for a workshop on medieval leatherworking as part of this year's Bealtaine Festival, a celebration of creativity in older age. Learn about leatherworking in Medieval Ireland and make your own book-mark trial piece inspired by finds from Viking Dublin.
