Drop-In Workshop: Bone Stories
Archaeologists can discover a lot about how people lived in the past by studying bones. Drop-In and take a look at how bones are preserved in different environments and figure out which bones belong to a Bronze Age burial, a Bog Body and a Viking skeleton.

Workshop: All Wrapped Up!: Making Mummified Oranges!
How did the Ancient Egyptians make mummies? Come and see the mummies at the National Museum of Ireland and learn how ancient mummies of Egypt were carefully made by making your own mummy using an orange!

Museum Time Travel Challenge Open Day with Gael agus Gall!
Stroll through the Museum's galleries to find Gael Agus Gall Re-enactment Group and discover the crafts, trades and lives of people in the past. Take up the challenge to find out about Viking Age and Medieval Leatherworking, manuscript Illumination, medieval clothing and medicine, and the tricks of trade and Viking and Medieval warfare. Afterwards prove you travelled through the galleries and time to claim your Museum Time Travel Challenge Certificate and prize.
