Symbolising the Nation: The Architectural Competitions to Design the National Museum & National Library

Lecture: Friday 13th October, 1pm-1:45pm

A lecture by architectural historian Dr Niamh Marnham about the battles over the choice of site, the use of indigenous architects, materials and labour in the creation of the buildings that today house the National Museum and the National Library.

Drop into the museum and discover the homes of the Vikings. Create your own Viking house and help build up the Viking town of Dublin!
