The National Museum of Ireland is excited to be a part of a spectacular celebration taking place across three venues and four days to ring in the New Year in Dublin City.
New Year’s Festival Dublin is a Fáilte Ireland initiative, produced and promoted by MCD Productions, in association with the Office of Public Works.
Collins Barracks - one of Dublin's most impressive historical sites and home of the NMI - Decorative Arts & History - is hosting the NYF Festival Quarter for the event with a host of stellar performances taking place.
On 29 December, headliners The Divine Comedy take to the stage with special guests The High Kings, Amble, All Tvvins, Lucy McWilliams, Big Sleep, Aonair and DJs Ed Smith, Sally Cinnamon and Kelly-Anne Byrne.
Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats headlines on 30 December with Chasing Abbey, Ryan Mack, Jen Payne, HamSandwich, R.S.A.G, Sinead White, Chubby Cat and DJs Emma Power, Shelly Gray and Fergal D'Arcy.
The Scratch will ring in the New Year on 31 December with special guests Sharon Shannon, Gemma Dunleavy,Hermitage Green, Ispíní na hÉireann, Lemoncello, Anamoe Drive, Krea and DJs Nialler9, Claire Beck and Blood Donor (DJ set).

New Year's Festival Dublin will see the city come alive in spectacular style with a packed programme across three venues - Collins Barracks, Dublin 7; Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
As well as ticketed concerts and events, there is a full programme of free, family friendly events taking place.
An extra event has just been added on 30 December at Dublin Castle due to phenomenal public demand.
Hosted by Emma Power, rising Irish artists including Tolü Makay, Robert Grace, Fia Moon, Rachel Mae Hannon and more will perform for family and friends of all ages from 4pm.
This is a free non-ticketed event.
On New Year’s Day, there are family-friendly concerts in Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
Dublin Castle will host live performances from Jerry Fish, Dublin Gospel Choir, Code Of Behaviour & The New Brass Kings.
Performing onstage at Meeting House Square are some Ireland’s best traditional and folk musicians, from Rónán Ó Snodaigh and Myles O'Reilly, to Dani Larkin, Niamh Bury and Sola.
Both of these events are free, non-ticketed family friendly events.
