Join us at the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, as we welcome 2024 as part of New Year’s Festival Dublin.
NYF Dublin is an opportunity to gather in the heart of the capital with family and friends as the city comes alive over four days. There are a host of spectacular events taking place across three venues from 29 December 2023 through to 1 January 2024.
Collins Barracks will be transformed into a Festival Quarter. The square will be a hive of activity with live entertainment over four days, including music, DJs, food and pop-up street performances.
The other participating venues are Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
The programme across the three venues for New Year’s Festival Dublin offers a host of entertainment and events for all ages guaranteed to engage, entertain and excite.

Museum visitor information during the festival
The Museum opening hours are unaffected by the event. The Museum will be open on New Year’s Day and throughout the festival as normal:

Museum Access
Public pedestrian access to Collins Barracks will change from Monday 18 December – Wednesday 3 January (inclusive). During this time, the site will be open to the public 15 minutes before the Museum opens, until the Museum closes at 5pm.
Public Parking
There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Monday 18 December – Wednesday 3 January inclusive (except for disabled parking - see below).
Accessible Parking
There will be accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders. Please liaise with the steward at the gate when you arrive.
Café - Good Vibrations
Good Vibrations will be closed from Monday 18 December, and will reopen again on Wednesday 3 January.
