Mayo ICA Federation Centenary Exhibition
The Irish Countrywomen’s Association (I.C.A.) celebrates its centenary this year. To mark the occasion, the Mayo guilds of the I.C.A. have prepared an exhibition of work of members in Mayo, past and present. The exhibition runs from 9th May until the end of July.
The partnership between the ICA and the National Museum has already resulted in a knitting workshop for visitors to the Museum. In October, the ICA and the Museum will host a crafts exchange workshop to mark World Rural Women’s Day and a presentation of photographs relating to the ICA in Mayo.
