Visit the Museum Café to sample a wide range of culinary delights. From homemade soup and soda bread, salad platters and croustades to salmon and chicken roulades and savoury plaits there is surely something here to suit all tastes. Opening Hours

Museum of Country Life, Cafe set up for an event, Turlough Park House, National Museum of Ireland

The café is open during Museum hours, with an earlier start on Sunday:

  • Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm
  • Sunday 12pm to 5pm
  • New Summer Monday Opening: Open each Monday from Monday 9 May '11 until the end of September '11.
  •  Out-of-hours functions, anything from wine and canapé receptions to sit-down dinners, can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Child-Friendly Service

You will find child-friendly food at the café and high-chairs are available on request. The café also welcomes mothers who wish to breast-feed their children.

Groups wishing to use the café and take a guided tour are advised to ring to secure a time for the guided tour before booking the café.
