The National Museum of Ireland - Country Life is located in Turlough Park just outside
Turlough Village, on the N5 approximately eight kilometres east of Castlebar.

Getting to the Museum by Car
The museum is well signposted along the N5 route in both directions.
(Look out for large brown signs stating 'Museum of Country Life'.)

Once you have turned off from the N5, drive for about 5 minutes and the Museum entrance will be on left hand side. The iron gated entrance is flanked by flag poles so you can't miss it!
The Museum can also be reached by taking the old Castlebar to Turlough road from
Castlebar Town.
