
Medieval Ireland Tour
This tour explores aspects of life in later Medieval Ireland, and considers the arrival of the Anglo-Normans in the mid 12th century and its impact on Irish society to the reformation of the 16th century.
Through exploring objects from the period, the weapons of war, treasured church shrines and tools of everyday life, explore themes of power, prayer and work in the Middle Ages in Ireland.
On request, this tour can include a handling session with replica Anglo-Norman chain-mail and helmet or Medieval pottery.
