They may have been banished, they make have never lived in Ireland at all, but this St Patrick’s Festival we welcome our serpentine friends to the National Museum of Ireland- Natural History!
Encounter snakes and reptiles of all kinds with the members of the Herpetological Society of Ireland. Join storyteller Jack Lynch in the Reading Area to hear some cold-blooded stories or construct a reptilian masterpiece with artist Martina Galvin in the Discovery Zone.
Natural History Museum staff will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have, and meet their special 10-foot high mystery reptile visitor! Keep checking back with us as we post more details of what’s on closer to the time!
The Wonders of Snakes is organised in collaboration with St Patrick's Festival as part of the St Patricks Festival I Love My City programme.
