This tour explores aspects of Life in Medieval Ireland, and considers the arrival of the Anglo-Normans in the mid-12th century and its impact on Irish society to the reformation of the 16th century.

The tour examines not only the political changes in Ireland with the colonisation of the Anglo-Normans, but also includes aspects of daily life in rural and urban Ireland. The religious activity of this period is the final element to the exhibition, and it highlights the importance of religious festivals, pilgrimage, and artwork.
