Kingship & Sacrifice: Bog Bodies
This tour details recent finds and investigations of the remains of Iron Age bog bodies in Irish Bogs. The tour offers groups the oppurtunity to step back in time and meet some of the inhabitants of Iron Age Ireland.
Through interaction with these fascinating finds, groups discover why these bodies may have been placed in bogs, who they may have been and their role in the community and even what their last meal was.
This tour also includes other finds from Irish bogs and steadily builds up a picture of daily life in Ireland 2000 years ago.
