Anne Grady joined the Museum in 2003 as Head of Administration. She is responsible for securing and managing the Museum’s financial resources; human resource management, including industrial relations; and managing and developing information communication technology systems. Her career to-date has centred on working in both the heritage and cultural areas of the public service in Ireland. As Education and Marketing Officer with Dúchas, she was responsible for initiating Heritage Week and was also a member of the UK and USA Overseas Tourism Marketing Initiative Working Groups. In the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, she developed policy and legislation in respect of Cultural Institutions, and was instrumental in establishing a Heritage Fund on a statutory basis.
Her qualifications include: BA; Higher Diploma in Education; a Masters of Science; and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance
Publications to date include papers on visitor access to cultural/heritage sites and reform of the Irish Public Service.
