Departure of the Sea stallion Dublin’s Viking Warship

What?Why not join us at the National Museum, Collins Barracks to pay a final farewell to

this Viking Warship before she sets sail for Denmark

The Sea Stallion Ship will be hoisted to a height of approx 150 ft out of Clarke Square, Collins Barracks on Thursday 29th May at 3.00pm(weather permitting) and gently lowered into the main museum car park. On the 30th May at 0200hrs the Sea Stallion will again be raised and lifted over the Luas Line and lowered into Croppy’s Acre. The Ship will then be driven across the Croppy Acre and lifted over its southern railings. The Ship will be placed on a transporter - low loader outside the railing along the north quay bus lane and driven to Dublin Port (under Garda Escort) where she will be towed into her mooring for preparation for her return journey from Dublin to Denmark on the 29th June 08 arriving in Denmark on the 9th August.When?Thursday 29th May
