Visit the Eileen Gray exhibition and then drop into the Activity Area during August to test your design skills - and give yourself an A! Drop-in Activity, no booking required.

Join Dr Jennifer Goff, curator of the Eileen Gray exhibition at the Museum, for this talk looking at Gray’s response to urban architecture through a series of hypothetical projects and writings which challenged the ideas of some of her contemporaries such as Le Corbusier. Eileen Gray produced a significant portfolio of plans, drawings and notes on urban projects which were never realised and have been largely forgotten. This lecture seeks to highlight these projects and Gray’s ideas at that time. Also part of the Museum’s Beyond Pebbledash Programme. Admission free but booking essential.

Join award winning illustrators and children’s book writers, Mark Wickham and Chris Judge, for a workshop on how to design a character for a story, using their forthcoming book ‘Brian and the Vikings’ as inspiration! From soldiers’ and nurses’ uniforms to patriotic costumes - or clothes for important occasions such as getting married or mourning, discover what messages uniforms can convey. Have a go at designing your own original uniform for school, work or play! Drop-in activity, no booking required.
