Spring into culture this New Year with a great new programme of Museum events

From Medieval knights to St. Brigid's Crosses, there's something for everyone in the new winter/spring 2018 programme

The National Museum of Ireland has just launched an exciting and wide-ranging new programme of events for winter/spring 2018 across four museum sites.

Events range from talks, tours and workshops to drop-in activities, museum trails and demonstrations. All events are free and the programme includes something for all ages and interests.

Highlights of the new programme include a family workshop on February 16 exploring Chinese New Year at the Museum of Decorative Arts & History; a spring activity trail at the Museum of Natural History; making St. Brigid’s Crosses at the Museum of Country Life; and learning about Medieval Knights and Ladies on February 14 at the Museum of Archaeology.

To celebrate the new programme of events, we have highlighted 10 great things for families to enjoy together this spring at the museum as well as this list of talks and tours suitable for adults.
