Plan your visit in 5 easy steps

Make the most of your Museum visit

1. Look at our list of resources, tours and workshops. Our activities and resources  meet a range of key curriculum links at Primary and Post Primary level.

2. Select your preferred dates and times. Book at least two weeks in advance. Book early and you’re more likely to get the dates and times you want.

3. Fill in a booking form once you have found a tour or workshop that you would like to book. Once your booking is processed, we’ll send a booking confirmation. If you have any further queries contact our bookings office.

4. Get prepared. Get the most from the Museum with a little pre-visit preparation – and plan some follow-up project work back in school.

  • Download our teacher’s resource pack, activity books and have a look at our microsite to prepare for your visit.
  • Let us know which activity book would suit your group well in advance so we can have them ready for you when you arrive.
  • Print your booking confirmation and bring it with you
  • Plan dividing larger groups up for some of our smaller galleries
  • Know where you are going

5. Come on time! Have fun, learn and be inspired!
