All groups that wish to visit must contact the Bookings Office in advance. Due to very limited capacity as only the ground floor (Irish Room) is open to the public, there is limited availability for group bookings.

With visitor volumes we would suggest that afternoon visits be considered, for best availability. We would advise contacting the Bookings Office wtih at least a fortnight's notice of visit, both to give us time to process the request and to have a better chance of your preferred day and time being available.

We cannot guarantee entry for groups that arrive without a booking, and your group may experience delays in accessing the Museum if you have not booked.

The Bookings Office is open from 9am – 5pm Tuesday to Friday.

Please keep an eye on our website for the most up-to-date information regarding visiting the Museum, or contact the Bookings Office at bookings@museum.ie if you have any further queries.

Supervision

Please ensure that all group leaders are famliar with the current group visit guidelines in advance of any visit.

All groups wtih members under 18 need to have adequate supervision in place, in accordance with our Child Protection Policy requirements. The required ratio is 1:15.

The group leader must remain with their group at all times during the visit.
