Tour: Dinosaurs in your Back Yard - all about Birds with Jamie

What makes birds so special and are they really dinosaurs? Journey with Jamie through the Dead Zoo's display of song birds, falcons, ducks, geese, waders and much much more! Learn about the different groups of birds and how they survive in every environment on Earth! Jamie will bring along his handling collection of wings, eggs and nests for students to touch and see upclose on this very special tour.

This tour has been developed by bird expert, Jamie Durrant. Jamie has a BSc in Zoology and an MSc in Environmental Science. Jamie has worked in public engagement for over ten years in organisations such as BirdWatch Ireland and is currently working with Irish Seed Savers Association as their Supporter and Community Engagement Officer.
