Ardagh 150 Colouring Competition

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the finding of the Ardagh Chalice, take part in our colouring competition!

To enter our competition, pick up a blank ‘Ardagh Chalice’ and decorated it how you like. You can visit the ‘Treasury Exhibition’ on the ground floor to see the chalice and many other objects to give you some ideas on how you can decorate your own chalice for your chance to win a €100 voucher for the museum shop and a personal family guided tour of the museum!

If you would like to take part in the competition, fill out your details on the back of the card and submit with your decorated Ardagh Chalice to enter the competition. You can post it into the below address or place it in the designated box in the reception at the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, Kildare Street.
This competition is run for 7-10 year olds and 11-14 year olds.

Closing date is Sunday 30th September 2018 at 5pm
Winners will be announced as part of our Ardagh Open Day on Saturday 6th October. By entering this competition, you are consenting that your decorated chalice will be shown to the public at our Open Day.
