Culture Club: Jurassic Skies

Culture Club invites members to explore and enjoy the collections through a series of specially arranged guided tours and activities in the company of Museum staff followed by ’Tea & Chat’ and an opportunity to mingle. In February join the curators of the Jurassic Skies exhibition, Matthew Parkes and Paolo Viscardi to hear about the Archaeopteryx, an animal known from fossils dating from the Jurassic age, approximately 150 million years old. This was the first animal with feathers that is suspected to have been capable of flight and is a ‘missing link’ between dinosaurs and birds. Booking Required.
