Covid 19: Health and safety measures

The health and safety of our visitors and staff is of paramount importance and, as such, we have introduced a range of new measures to facilitate a safe and enjoyable return of visitors to our Museums.

  • Visitor safety guidelines are in place at all of our public sites.

  • Our front of house staff have received health and safety training in relation to COVID-19.

  • Physical distancing provisions are in place at all of our public sites.

  • Booking is required at some Museum sites to facilitate physical distancing.

  • Hand sanitising stations are available for visitors and staff.

  • We have introduced a one-way system throughout our galleries.

  • We have further increased our rigorous cleaning regimes.

  • We will be managing visitor numbers in line with public health and safety guidelines.

  • Some galleries/areas may be temporarily closed where physical distancing cannot be implemented.

  • We will ask visitors to adhere to maximum capacity guidelines at some galleries/areas to facilitate physical distancing.

  • Cloakroom services will be unavailable so please do not bring motorcycle helmets, suitcases or large bags into the exhibition galleries.
