Online Family Workshop: Megalithic Rock Art

Learn all about the different designs used by people in the Stone Age to decorate prehistoric tombs in Ireland. Download and print out our newly created ‘Megalithic Rock Art’ activity sheet to see the shapes and patterns used by people in the Stone Age to decorate large stones called megaliths. Tune into our special online workshop as part of Heritage Week, for a short tour of the Museum’s ‘Prehistoric Ireland’ exhibition and learn more about Stone Age Ireland.

The ‘Megalithic Rock Art’ activity sheet and the ‘Stone Age Wordsearch’ will be available to download and print from the Museum’s website from Friday 6th August and can be used at home or as part of your visit to the Museum.
