The Museum Writer's are a group of individuals with a keen interest in prose and poetry. They meet up usually on the first and third Sunday of the month.
The Museum Writer's Group aims to rejuvenate your Sunday afternoons with some creative writing using your experience as the ink of your life and the artefacts at the Museum to dig up the poet and scribe buried deep within. This group focuses on learning, listening, growing and maybe in time a little performing.
How to get involved
The Museum Writer's Group welcomes members of the public who are interested in finding out more to join them on the first and third Sunday of the month at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. No attendance fee or booking required. For further information, email Kate Carty on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The group has been involve in a number of projects through the Museum education and marketing departments, contributing to programming and more recently the Museum's celebrations for Culture Night.
