Daoine agus Áit: Connecting our Communities Exhibition

During the Covid-19 pandemic, members of the Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN) worked together to create a heritage postcard collection on the theme of 'people & place'. Since then, the postcards have traversed the globe raising awareness of our rich built, natural and cultural heritage and ‘connecting our communities’ at home and abroad.

This community-centred work is showcased in a special exhibition which will go on display at the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life for National Heritage Week 2022.

Visit the exhibition from Tuesday 16 to Monday 22 August and enter our postcard competition.

To enter: 1) select your favourite postcard 2) write on the back of the card why it stands out for you 3) post it in our competition post box and be in with a chance of winning a €50 voucher to spend online at the Museum Shop
