WORKSHOP: Making St. Patrick's Badges

Admission free | Booking required

St. Patrick's Badges were traditionally made and worn by children to honour our patron saint, St Patrick, on his feast day on 17 March.

There are lots of examples of these colourful badges on display in the National Folklife Collection.

Have a go at making your own St Patricks Badge similar to those in our collection, using upcycled and recycled materials. This is a self-directed activity with resources supplied by the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life.

This is a free event, suitable for adults and children. Booking required. Email BookingsCountryLife@museum.ie or telephone the Bookings Office on +353 94 90 31751 to book the 1pm slot or the 2pm slot.

Location:

WORKSHOP: Making St. Patrick's Badges is located at:
Turlough Park,
Castlebar,
Co. Mayo
