Gather at the National Museum at Turlough Park and feel the magic of Christmas come alive with festive stories by storyteller, Fiona Dowling.

The wonderful atmosphere of the Museum provides a unique backdrop for a selection of traditional and contemporary Christmas tales from around the world, which will make your heart glow, your eyes twinkle and fill your belly with laughter.

The performances will take place on Sunday 15 December in the Museum Galleries and is suitable for families with children aged 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Three sessions are available at the following times:

Session 1:  1.30pm
Session 2:  2:30pm
Session 3:  3:30pm

Fiona Dowling, Ireland/France, is a French-Irish storyteller and visual artist who is currently living in Ballyglass, County Mayo. As a storyteller, Fiona has been bringing folktales, wisdom tales, myths, riddles and songs to primary schools, hospitals, libraries, pubs and festivals since 2009. As a visual artist, Fiona tells her own story in autobiographical comics and paintings, and creates participatory events building temporary communities around an art form.
