Make your Own Musical Instrument - Panpipes

We are joined by sound artist and instrument designer Ed Devane, in this informative step by step pre-recorded video tutorial.

This workshop, available from 9am on Wednesday, 17 February, takes direct inspiration from the Museum’s musical instrument collections. Ed will demonstrate how to make a simple musical instrument. The workshop touches on a variety of STEAM subjects such as physics of sound, design skills and creative problem-solving skills. No previous musical experience required!

Our learning programmes offer a wide range of curriculum-based activities, designed to encourage participation, collaboration and exploration. Contact us by email at bookings@museum.ie to start planning your tour, workshop or visit as a self-guided group, or use our learning resources on key curricular themes.

Please note this is a pre-recorded workshop tutorial.
