Visit the Little Houses Exhibition, open during Museum opening hours.

Between 2 – 4pm on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October, young people whose artwork is featured in the exhibition will be in the gallery space acting as mediators of the exhibition to introduce their work and talk about the Little Houses Project. Drop in. No booking required.

This project is a collaboration between the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks and Stoneybatter Youth Service, in which young people from the Stoneybatter area were invited to create artworks, to be exhibited at the Museum, in response to their experiences throughout the COVID19 pandemic since March 2020.

The project provides a platform and space in the Museum for young people from the community close to Collins Barracks. The artworks they have created are a record of their experiences and responses to the pandemic and its impact on the community, and wider society.
