Drop-in event: Meet Kildare Wildlife Rescue

Free

A photograph of two foxes - a winning image from a calendar competition run by Kildare Wildlife Rescue.

Drop into The Wonder Cabinet this Biodiversity Week and meet the Education Team and other Volunteers from Kildare Wildlife Rescue - a wildlife rehabilitation facility.

From baby birds to fox cubs, learn about some of the wild animals that the volunteers have rescued, rehabilitated and returned to the wild. This is a chance to ask all your curious wildlife questions and discover what you can do to help our native wildlife! As ever there will be a chance to see up close and touch some feathers and fur from the education handling collections.

A drop -in event at The Wonder Cabinet is a short activity that takes about 10 minutes and is located on the ground floor of the Museum. No booking required. Wheelchair accessible.
