How to get the best from an independent visit to Merrion Square and explore the Museum in your own time.


All groups who are coming to the Museum must book their visit with the Bookings Office.

Activity sheets help to ensure students are focused and engaged, while they gain skills and learn something new.

The Zoo in My Garden

This short activity sheet introduces the topic of biodiversity to students. It directs them to follow a trail and note information about garden animals in the Museum.

This more advanced activity booklet builds on students' knowledge of environmental awareness and care. Using existing knowledge and the information provided in the booklet, students have to complete specific tasks.
