The National Museum of Ireland is currently procuring dynamic, passionate Tour Guides and Facilitators to join our panel.
With availability across our four unique and culturally rich sites—Archaeology (Kildare Street, Dublin), Natural History / Dead Zoo Lab (opening at Collins Barracks), Decorative Arts & History (Collins Barracks, Dublin), and Country Life (Turlough Park, Mayo)—this is your opportunity to ignite curiosity, foster dialogue, and create unforgettable experiences for diverse audiences from Ireland and beyond.
As a Guide or Facilitator, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to inspire curiosity, connection, and relevance. Through storytelling, interpretation, and meaningful engagement, you’ll amplify voices past and present—deepening public understanding of our heritage, environment, and identity.
We are seeking people who are:
- Energetic, confident communicators with a love for history, culture, natural science
- Skilled at engaging groups of all ages in accessible, inclusive, and inspiring ways
- Flexible and enthusiastic, with availability for part-time work
Whether you're leading visitors through the mysteries of ancient Ireland, the wonders of the natural world, the stories behind our decorative and military collections or sharing the rich traditions of Irish folklife, you’ll be helping to shape the future of museum engagement in Ireland.

Appointment to the panel shall not be construed or have effect as constituting any relationship of employer and employee between a Successful Candidate and the National Museum of Ireland. Any engagement offered to a successful candidate following appointment to the Panel will be on an independent supplier basis.
