County Dublin, Lusk - watercolour of houses in Lusk village with water-pump and power-lines.

Painted by Denis Buckle in 1943. Watercolour paper, pencil, watercolours. Height 257mm, Width 364mm.

A streetscape is shown with a houses irregularly grouped on one side of the road.  The two story conjoined house dominates the painting.  The original streetscape is  substantially visually altered with the introduction of electricity lines and pole shown sited beside the traditional water-pump.
