Tin mug

This tin mug was known locally known as a saucepan.

This small specimen was made by Mike Maughan, tinsmith, Gort-Headford-Tuam district. In new condition, the cup measures 10 cm in diameter and is 7.5 cm high. The upper edge is turned over to form a rim. The handle is fixed by two rivets above and one below.
