Orienteering

Learn some basic map reading and navigation skills and complete an orienteering course around the grounds of The National Museum at Turlough Park House. This work in the Museum will be supported by staff and students from ATU’s Mayo campus and will coincide with World Orienteering day.

Level: 4th to 6th Class
Group Size: Classroom Size
Location: Onsite in grounds of Turlough Park, dress accordingly 
Set-up: 
Duration: 40min, 3 parts
10 min: Introduction to Museum, site and ground rules 
45 min: Orienteering workshop 
5 min: Conclusion
Availability: Wednesday 17th May 2023
Times: 10am to 11am or 11.30am to 12.30pm
