The Castlebar River in the biodiverse grounds of Turlough Park

Join us this National Biodiversity Week for a special day of discovery and fun as we find out all about Ireland’s wild bees.

Learn about gardening for wild bees, join a pollinator walk and engage in some bee-inspired crafts.

Check out our timetable for the day below:
1:00pm - 1:30pm          Gardening for Wild Bees a talk by Celia Graebner
1:30pm - 2:30pm          Family Workshop entitled Craft Bees by Isolde Dingerkus
2:30pm - 3:00pm         Ireland Rarest Wild Bees; a talk by Karina Dingerkus
3:00pm - 4:00pm         Bees in the Museum grounds; a walk to look for pollinators within the grounds of Turlough Park House with Karina Dingerkus and Celia Graebner

This is a free event, in association with the temporary exhibition The Murmur of Bees.
