Crafting at the National Museum at Turlough Park

Have a go at making your own Halloween inspired arts and crafts to take home, available from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Thursday, 30 October 2025.


Spooky Origami 

Join artist Lindsay McConnell to create a scary skull or petrifying pumpkin with an opening mouth - using just paper, scissors, a little glue and some careful folding!  


Creepy Critter Craft

Join crafter Isolde Dingerkus for a spooktacular Halloween craft session! Children will have a chance to create their very own flying bats, leafy hedgehogs and soft cuddly spiders. A perfect way to celebrate all things Halloween. 


This is part of a series of free drop-in crafting sessions from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 29, 30 and 31 October 2025. No booking required. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note - All materials provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised throughout the activity.
