Turlough 8k fun run and walk

Registration via Eventmaster.ie

The Museum is delighted to once again host the popular Turlough 8km run, organised by Mayo Mental Health Association and Parke Keelogues Crimlin GAA Club, in partnership with Mayo AC and the National Museum of Ireland.

The event looks set to be bigger and better than ever in 2024, starting and finishing in the spectacular grounds of the National Museum of Ireland at Turlough Park.

The run element of the event is registered with Athletics Ireland, which will attract the top talent in the county.

The Turlough 8k takes place at 12noon on Sunday, 11 February. The event is open to young and old alike and welcomes runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities. There is also a virtual element for those further afield, which has proven to be a huge success during COVID restrictions. People can go it alone or participate in a group.

Be sure to tag the organisers in any photos or videos over the weekend and use the hashtag #moveformayo to be entered into the raffle draw for a selection of prizes.

Monies raised will go to supporting Parke-Keelogues-Crimlin GAA club and funding different community projects and mental health initiatives for Mayo Mental Health Association.

Registration is through the Eventmaster platform.
