Meet the members of the Connacht Textile Crafters for their next drop-in session, taking place from 11.30am to 3pm on Saturday, 30 September.

The Connacht Textile Crafters are a group of talented craft workers and artists from across the region. The group meet on the last Saturday of every second month at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life.

This demonstration takes place in the workshop rooms in the Courtyard (beside the café).

They share their knowledge and crafting skills at their meetings and showcase their work to each other and members of the public. The group work on a range of domestic crafting methods, using an assortment of materials that in many ways reflects how traditional crafts have developed creatively to incorporate modern tools, materials, and techniques.
