The National Museum of Ireland is delighted to present 'A Christmas Carol' by Ocean of Notions Productions, performed at Turlough Park, Castlebar, on 9 and 10 December 2023. 

This is a heart-warming adaptation of Charles Dickens' timeless tale that has become a highly anticipated date in the festive calendar of Cork City where is has been performed at Nano Nagle Place over the last number of years.

The National Museum of Ireland is delighted to bring the production to Co Mayo for three intimate performances in the Victorian setting of Turlough Park, at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, 9 December, and 1pm on Sunday, 10 December.

'A Christmas Carol' is directed by Judie Chalmers and performed by the esteemed Shakespearean actor, Kieran O'Leary. Nicole McDonagh takes on the role of the haunting songstress, delivering an evocative selection of Early Celtic, Medieval, and Victorian carols. The production features an original soundscape created by Shane O'Sullivan.
