The Rock'n'Roses Choir

The Museum is delighted to welcome the Rock'n'Roses Choir to the exhibition galleries for a festive carolling session at 3pm on Saturday, 16 December 2023.

The Rocks'n'Roses Choir is made-up entirely of cancer survivors. It takes its name from the choir headquarters at Rock Rose House, a voluntary cancer support service in Castlebar, Co Mayo.

The choir meet up from 6.30pm to 8pm on Wednesday evenings for practice and a cup of tea. It is a fun group and a safe space for anyone that has, or is going through, a cancer diagnosis . Louise Killeen leads the group and is very well supported by the group musician Marie Falon.

The motto of the Rocks'n'Roses choir is 'You don't have to be a good singer to join us, we pride ourselves on being a choir for all voices'.

New members are always welcome. Telephone Louise on (087) 2250704 for further information.
