Drop into the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks and join a free family tour with one of our Museum guides. Find out about the lives of soldiers living in the Barracks from the 1700s until the late 1900s, as well as the transition from one of Europe’s oldest occupied Barracks into one of Ireland’s National Museums. Along the way discover some of the highlights from the Museum’s history and decorative arts exhibitions.

At 5pm and 7pm, join our guide for a tour of the history of Collins Barracks and its collections. 

At 6pm, join our guide for a bilingual tour of the military history of Collins Barracks through Irish and English. 

General audience. No booking required, however spaces are limited.
