International Museum & National Drawing Day- Animation Station with Paper Panther

Free

Fashion illustration by Margaret Dardis of designs by Neillí Mulcahy for the GAA in 1969

Bring your drawings to life guided by an expert professional animator to celebrate National Drawing & International Museum Day!

Inspired by the sporty artefacts on display in GAA: People, Objects & Stories, make your own drawings move by learning to create animation devices known as thaumatropes and phenakistoscopes. Don't know what these are? Come along and see!

This free drop-in activity will take place from 2pm to 4pm in the GAA: People, Objects & Stories exhibition on Level 2 at Collins Barracks.

Booking is not required. For more information, contact bookings@museum.ie or call 01 648 6453.
